This policy explains how ANDRIUKHIN GLEB ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and browser storage when you visit https://gig-amigo.com or use GigAmigo.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and extension storage. They can remember a session, protect a request, or retain a setting.

We do not use advertising cookies. With your optional consent, PostHog Cloud EU measures key product outcomes and records masked interface sessions and heatmaps on selected website pages and our own extension panel. It does not record LinkedIn, employer websites, PDF contents, or private text. Inputs are masked and network bodies and console logs are not recorded.
gigamigo_analytics remembers your choice for up to 180 days. After consent, gigamigo_analytics_id stores a random visitor ID for up to 90 days to connect a visit to sign-up. PostHog keeps runtime session state in memory and an opt-in/out preference in browser storage. The extension may retain a small account-scoped queue of optional outcome events for up to 7 days while offline. The backend retains its delivery journal for up to 90 days. Withdrawal clears pending optional events and stops new collection; it does not automatically erase data already delivered.
3. Essential cookies
Essential authentication and security cookies cannot be disabled through a preference centre because the signed-in service cannot operate reliably without them. You can remove them through browser settings, but doing so may sign you out or break account functionality.
4. Browser and extension storage
The Chrome extension uses chrome.storage.local for account connection metadata, automation state, review prompts, and device/session proof material. This information stays in the user's Chrome profile unless it is sent to the GigAmigo backend as part of an authorised product action. LinkedIn cookies read by the extension are not copied to the GigAmigo backend.
The extension has access to HTTP and HTTPS websites to detect job vacancies locally after checking the page URL. It may check a detected vacancy URL against your saved outreach history. When you start tailoring or outreach, the required vacancy context is sent to our backend and AI providers. These product functions are separate from optional analytics, which does not record LinkedIn or other websites.
5. Managing cookies
Use Cookie settings in the website footer, on this page, or in the extension panel to change optional analytics, then select Save preferences. You can withdraw consent at any time through the same control. The signed-in choice applies to your account. You can use GigAmigo with analytics rejected. For deletion of previously collected information, contact us using the address below. See our Privacy Policy for information about recipients, international transfers, and your data protection rights.
You can block or delete cookies in browser settings. Browser documentation explains how to manage storage in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in and protected product features from working.

We may update this policy when technologies, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest revision date appears at the top.
